Programme Outcome

  • The life science is the wealth of life on earth. Conservation of natural vegetation provides the basic biotic resources to the welfare of mankind and it is essential for sustenance of plants, nature and human race.
  • The range of plant diversity in terms of structure, function and environmental relationships is essential factor in undergraduate level .Basically the Plant classification , flora and fauna is need of the hour.
  • The sensory characters and morphology of the vegetation and the role of plants in the functioning of global ecosystem is the significant aspects to study Botany in B.Sc course.
  • Understanding of various interactions that exist among plants and microbes: to develop the curiosity on the dynamicity of nature
  • Skill development for the proper description using botanical terms, identification, naming and classification of life forms.
  • Making aware of the scientific and technological advancements- Information and Communication, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology for further learning and research in all the fields of Natural Science.
