ABOUT US:
The department of commerce was established in 1974 to cater to the needs of commerce education in this educationally deprived border area of Athani. The department has well-qualified faculty with NET, KSET, M.Phil. and Ph.D. The faculty members have published several research papers in national and international conferences/seminars. The faculty members have published their research articles in UGC CARE List and Peer-Reviewed Journals.

OUTCOMES:

The students acquire adequate knowledge, skills and attitudes during the B.Com. Degree course required to sustain in a challenging global environment.

Students will succeed in various professional exams like C.A., C.S., CMA, KPSC, UPSC, as well as other courses.

The students will strengthen their knowledge, communication skills, decision making, innovations and problem-solving in day-to-day business activities.

Students will have hands-on experience thereby enhancing practical skills to work as accountants, audit assistants, tax consultants and computer operators, as well as other financial supporting services.
- Students can deepen their knowledge by doing research in the field of finance and commerce in their higher education and contribute to the society.
